The Two Bucket Wash Method

Living in agricultural areas means our vehicles face unique challenges - from dust to road grime. The two-bucket method is your first defense against paint damage:

What You'll Need:

• Two 5-gallon buckets

• Grit guards for both buckets (recommended)

• Quality car wash soap (no dish soap!)

• Microfiber wash mitt

• Several microfiber drying towels

• Garden hose with adjustable nozzle

The Process:

1. Bucket Setup

- Fill first bucket with car soap solution

- Fill second bucket with clean water

- Place grit guards in both if available

2. Pre-Wash

- Rinse entire vehicle thoroughly

- Pay extra attention to wheel wells and lower panels

- Remove loose debris and mud

3. Washing Technique

- Start at the top, work down

- Use straight-line motions (no circles!)

- Rinse mitt in clean water after each panel

- Re-soap mitt in soap bucket

- Work in sections to prevent soap drying

Pro Tip: For heavily soiled farm vehicles, consider a pre-wash foam treatment to loosen stubborn dirt.
